Since 2006, Marsh & McLennan Companies has collaborated with the World Economic Forum on its landmark Global Risks Report. Tom Fuhrman will present on the findings from the World Economic Forum held in Davos and share insights into key global risks, specific to cybersecurity and disruptive technologies.

Tom leads Marsh Risk Consulting’s Cybersecurity and Advisory Services Practice. Previously he was Senior National Security Officer for the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. He was Partner at Booz Allen Hamilton where he led a $100 million consulting practice in cybersecurity, science and technology serving Department of Defense clients.

His Air Force career included flight-testing of the SR-71 Blackbird.

Tom has established himself as a thought leader in implementing cyber security enterprise risk management strategy, policy, and technology across the globe.

He is well-versed in federal agency cybersecurity initiatives and various state and federal privacy regulations, in addition to trends in cyber risk measurement and quantification.
Tom is a frequent speaker on such cybersecurity topics as risk quantification and improving operational capability in cybersecurity. Recent conferences include the 5th annual Silicon Valley Tech Risk Forum, RIMS 2016, Financial Executives International, the National Association of Corporate Directors, and the Public Agency Risk Managers Association annual conference.
